Final Days of the Campaign!
over 1 year ago – Mon, Jun 26, 2023 at 04:21:21 AM

We are in the last few days of the campaign and honestly it has surpassed my wildest dreams. I didn't expect so many people would be interested in my zine project and I'm kinda overwhelmed with all the support.

Thank you

There is a bit more media for those who want to check it out:

A Designer Diary blogpost about game here: https://blackarmada.com/wreck-this-deck-designer-diary/

Interview with Mike on Who, What Why? where I talk about the game and we also talk board games: https://ninjavspirates.libsyn.com/who-what-why-s35e05-wreck-this-deck-with-becky-annison?tdest_id=560018

Part 2 of Audrey's Alone at the Table Actual Play: https://pnc.st/s/alone-at-the-table/1659e110/wreck-this-deck-by-becky-annison-part-2-

And a super cool bonus episode of Alone at the Table by new Deck Runner, Red: https://pnc.st/s/alone-at-the-table/2bbb8f3c/red-deck-demons

I think this meme probably only makes sense to me because the more trashed your deck is the better - but I thought I'd share it anyway :)

Blessed are the deck runners.

Actual play, interviews and more for Wreck This Deck
over 1 year ago – Fri, Jun 09, 2023 at 12:49:35 AM

If you wanted to learn more about the game then I've got you covered with a round up of some podcasts talking about the game and even playing it!

Audrey did a beautiful Actual Play of Wreck This Deck here for Alone At The Table with a follow up episode expected in around about a week. I lovely bite sized episode to help you get started.

Becky was interviewed by Thomas from Yes, Indie'd and you can listen to that here. We talked about some of my other games and the influences on Wreck This Deck.

Black Dragon Dungeon Company did a review on their Lonely solo RPG podcast you can listen to that here.

Don't forget to check in on the twitter hashtag #WreckThisDeckRPG and help out other deck runners who need a bit of advice. If twitter isn't your thing then deck runner Drus has set up the Deck Runner Safe House over on facebook which also has a lot going on.

Otherwise it is another big THANK YOU from me and Black Armada Games for making this campaign so successful!

Blessed are the deck runners.

Thank you everyone!

Firstly a huge (and belated) update to say a massive THANK YOU to all the backers, supporters and sharers of the campaign.  I am so excited this project is funded and I will be able to make this into a physical zine for so many to enjoy.  I am really grateful for all your support in making that happen!

Belated because we launched this campaign the day before UK Games Expo (at which we were also exhibiting with the UK Indie RPG League stall).  Don't recommend crunching all that into one week but we managed it somehow and went for a celebratory family hike in the Peak District top it all off today.

Also really excited to announced that Dicebreaker have done a feature on Wreck This Deck - it is wonderful seeing solo journaling RPGs getting this much love. You can check it out here: https://www.dicebreaker.com/games/wreck-this-deck/news/wreck-this-deck-solo-rpg-crowdfunding-campaign

Blessed are the Deck Runners!

Welcome to Wreck This Deck
over 1 year ago – Thu, Jun 01, 2023 at 05:03:44 AM

Thank you for backing Wreck This Deck! We are making the PDF of the first edition available to all backers now so you can start playing the game. It contains the core of the rules that you need to play the game, in the scrappy layout we did for it when it was first released.

The updated PDF with all the new material, layout and art is nearly ready and we will release it to backers soon after the campaign closes.

We encourage you to get started playing the game and post your wrecked cards to social media using the #WreckThisDeckRPG hashtag - we're really excited to see your messy, gorgeous, wrecked cards.

Thank you again for your support, and helping to make the Wreck This Deck print zine a reality!
